Statistics means data.

The development of a new product is to go through a projection or simulation phase which means data generation. The same goes for a production process that generates, if measured, data.

These measurements must come from relevant parameters and this is our priority – making sure that critical parameters are measured and recorded.

The data coming from these measurements are a mine of information.

We analyse them, that is to say, taking advantage of these measurements to infer or project and simulate settings not yet tested, so that improvements can be deduced.

This is what Statistics do – Study facts!

Unfortunately, very often, important decisions concerning the development of new products or the improvement of production processes are made on the basis of intuition and not facts.

We do not mean that intuition is a bad thing. In truth, we know that intuition often leads to great discoveries.

We simply suggest studying the product or the production process from a new angle (using alternative sources of information). This allows better risk management and optimal settings to be found.
